The Innovation Hall, 1st Floor, A-side is currently experiencing a network outage.

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
Cause: 

Contractor working in Telecom Room plugged a portable USB battery into the switch. This caused the supervisor blade in the switch to lose power.

Resolution: 

USB battery was removed and switch rebooted.

Prevention: 

Contractor/Vendor told to speak with NET before plugging equipment in when working in Telecom Room.
