Users couldn’t connect using Duo to approve 2 Factor authentication.
Users would start to log in but not receive a Duo push for authentication.

Impact to Mason:
Certain applications were unavailable to users trying to log in for their initial attempt. Users connected prior to start of issue stayed connected.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Other Affected Services:
Any service using Duo authentication
There was an Amazon Web Services outage that affected multiple vendors including Duo.
Amazon Web Services were brought back online
Nothing as this was a vendor issue.
