Residents in Essex Building were without internet connectivity.

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
Cause:
Hardware failure caused the issue.
Resolution:
The supervisor card in the building switch was replaced. The new supervisor card was configured with the saved configuration for the building switch. Network connectivity was restored once card was installed and programmed.
Prevention:
Maintain a level of spare cards (supervisor and other) on site for quick replacement.
