CERTIFICATE PROBLEM IMPACTING MASON-SECURE AND EDUROAM WIFI
January 12, 2021 7:41 a.m.Users received error message ‘unable to connect’ to Mason’s Wifi and eduroam. Some didn’t get any errors at all.
Users could not log onto Mason Secure or eduroam wireless networks.
Some wireless networks were unavailable to users on campus.
The certificates were not originally applied correctly on Clearpass servers.
The certificates were re-applied and verified and they started to work.
We verified and did not see any errors with wireless connectivity when migrating over to Clearpass. We will implement a broader test base in the future to identify any issues immediately.
