Initial Symptoms
All Wired, Wireless, VoIP were down due to the outage. The network outage only affected a portion of the 2nd floor.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
One switch out of the two stacks were bad.
Resolution
We replaced the bad switch with on-hand inventory.
Prevention
Have sufficient staff and hardware readily available to promptly address the issue.
