Impact of the change on users:

There will be rolling Wi-Fi and wired network and Virtual Private Network (VPN) outages across all campuses, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones, and elevator phone lines across all campuses will be intermittently unavailable during the maintenance window.

Cell phone service will not be impacted. ResNet networks in the residence halls will be available; however, the following services will not be available in the residence halls: solstice pods; eduroam Wi-Fi; and, key card access updates.

Reason for the change:

ITS is upgrading building switches to the latest recommended code version. (ID # 246170)
