MAC system slowness

Resolved Alert:

The vendor has released a permanent fix for the issues causing Mac system slowness, freezing and unexpected reboots.  ITS has successfully tested the fix and will starting deploying the solution on all Macs enrolled in Jamf Pro starting Monday 12/12/2022.

Alert Updates:

ITS has found a temporary solution that should resolve the issues regarding Mac system slowness, freezing and unexpected reboots. As of this time now, we have started deploying a temporary solution on all Macs enrolled in Jamf Pro. We are continuing to work with our vendors regarding this issue and will provide further guidance when a permanent solution is available.

Initial Alert:

ITS is receiving reports of overall Mac system slowness, applications appear to freeze and in some cases systems reboot.

ITS is investigating possible conflicts with endpoint protection software and have escalated the issue to the vendor for resolution.
