Initial Symptoms
Users could not connect to theĀ VPN.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
The Fairfax ASA was not authenticating properly, could not resolve name.
Resolution
Moved to DR VPN while rebooting the Fairfax VPN,
once rebooted all service was restored, moved VPN back to Fairfax.
Prevention
Monitoring ASA VPN, called the vendor to see why this happen, and have vendor check for any bugs.
