ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
Cause:

The DR controller had 106 AP’s attached to it, which were scattered throughout the Horizon building. The Mason Engineers moved the AP’s off the DR controller. The cause of the issue was the DHCP Scope was not fully setup on the DR controller. That has been fixed by IPAM Admins.

Resolution:

The test AP in the office which the same network in Horizon was giving the same symptoms as callers in Horizon. The cause of the issue was the DHCP Scope was not fully setup on the DR controller. That has been fixed by John Hanks.

Prevention:

Network Security Engineering and IPAM Admins made sure all the DHCP scope is big enough for the network, and pushed to the Backup Controller in DR.
