Root Cause Analysis
Cause
Underlying storage system slow performance. The replacement filesystem for the NetApp failure on 1/20/2020 was unable to perform the IO workloads required for VCL under load.
Resolution
VCL functionality restored by switching to a new PURE Storage flash based filesystem.
Prevention
Monitoring to ensure new storage system can handle load.
