Impact of the change on users:

The following services, websites, redirects, and their respective directory paths and subdirectories will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

  • Colocation Services (hosted server space)/Departmental Systems Housed in the Data Center or Disaster Recovery (DR) Site: Please schedule any independent work, reports, or maintenance, including back-ups outside of this ITS maintenance period.
  • Departmental Websites: Departmental websites and redirects will be unavailable.
  • Mason Website: https://www2.gmu.edu/ is not impacted, but the redirect from https://www.gmu.edu/ will be unavailable.
  • Faculty & Staff and Student Email Log in Page: The http://mail.gmu.edu login page for faculty & staff and student mail systems will be unavailable; however, the actual mail systems will not be impacted.
  • myMason Login: http://mymason.gmu.edu will be unavailable; however, myMason portal will still available through this link: https://mymasonportal.gmu.edu/
  • Mac enrollment in Jamf: http://mac.gmu.edu will be unavailable to enroll Mason-owned Macs in Jamf.
