Impact of the change on users:

During the maintenance period, customers enrolled in 2FA may see the new login page and/or be prompted to use 2FA with CAS AND Shibboleth applications. Customers who are NOT enrolled in 2FA may see the new login page for CAS and Shibboleth applications.

Reason for the change:

ITS is moving CAS and Shibboleth to the cloud in March. This move will standardize the login pages for CAS and Shibboleth applications and add 2FA to Shibboleth applications (2FA was added to CAS applications in 2018). Testing in production is needed to allow ITS and non-ITS system admins to test their systems and work to resolve any issues before the full cutover on March 8. (ID#  190031)
