Initial Symptoms
Network Engineers noticed issues using the VPN, while working on the Firewall with Vendors directions.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
Prepping the new firewall for the upgrade on the Sept 26. Configuring a port Channel in the DR New Firewall, caused a loop, thus causing intermittent network issues.
Resolution
Engineers removed the port channel removed the loop.
Prevention
After discussions with the vendor, better test time using after hours, or maintenance.
