   All network services had an intermittent connection issues.

Initial symptoms: 

Users reporting intermittent network connection issues.

Impact to Mason: 

All campuses were affected by issue. Interminttent network connections lasting roughly 10 minutes

Wireless (Wi-Fi) Network (eduroam)

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
Cause: 

Firewall failure caused switch-over to second firewall in HA pair. This caused the intermittent network issues as sessions were moved to the now active firewall.

Resolution: 

Firewall was restored and HA pairing re-established.

Prevention: 

Engineers will be monitoring and working with Palo Alto  and Cisco support, on why this crash occurred to find out root cause.
