Initial Symptoms
Users reporting intermittent network connection issues.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
Firewall failure caused switch-over to second firewall in HA pair. This caused the intermittent network issues as sessions were moved to the now active firewall.
Resolution
Firewall was restored and HA pairing re-established.
Prevention
Engineers will be monitoring and working with Palo Alto and Cisco support, on why this crash occurred to find out root cause.
