MMUG Charter

Mission

The mission of the Mason MicroStrategy User Group (MMUG) is to educate and enlighten members from across the university by sharing MicroStrategy best practices, strategies, and tips in order to achieve academic and administrative goals.

Scope

The MMUG will support the Mason MicroStrategy user community. It will:

  1. Have regular meetings - TBD
  2. Discuss an in-depth topic as identified by users
  3. Collaborate on and discuss analytical and reporting questions and concerns, and relay those questions and concerns to the Business Liaisons
  4. Review training materials and help develop new training options
Communication

The MMUG meetings and all supporting documentation will be promoted and shared on the reporting.gmu.edu User Group page.

Participation
  • Any MicroStrategy user with Banner security privileges is welcome
  • New members may join by attending MMUG meetings
