Service Summary

Mason provides email list management service using the L-Soft LISTSERV product. LISTSERV provides everything you need to manage all your opt-in email lists, including newsletters, announcements, discussion groups and email communities. It is frequently used by faculty and students alike for distributing announcements and holding discussions.

List ownership is limited to Mason faculty, staff, university organizations, and departments. Each list must have a primary owner however, it is recommended to have 2 or more owners. Students and student organizations must have faculty or staff sponsorship to own mailing
