Cisco Umbrella is a cloud-based tool that protects Mason users by blocking them from visiting websites that threaten to compromise Mason’s technology resources or defraud users.
If Umbrella determines a site you are attempting to reach is potentially malicious, you will reach the Umbrella block page and unable to access the website.
Newly Seen Domains
If a domain you recently set up is being blocked by Cisco Umbrella, please wait 1-3 days to allow Umbrella to properly categorize it and automatically unblock it. If there is an urgent need to add the domain to our allowlist, click the Request Allowlist Review button to the right to submit a request.
Cisco Umbrella blocks users from accessing malicious websites. It will block users from sites where malware, ransomware, phishing, and botnets are present. Umbrella will redirect users from sites where cyber threats are present to a page explaining to users the site is malicious.
