Service Summary

Mason is a member of the Center for Internet Security (CIS) through the IT Security Office (ITSO). Mason systems administrators have access to the CIS Benchmark Tools and member materials once registered with CIS.

Getting This Service

To register with CIS, visit cisecurity.org/cis-benchmarks/ and complete the registration form using your Mason email address. After account validation, you will receive an email indicating that your registration has been activated, along with a temporary password. Log in and update your password. Once registered with CIS, Mason systems administrators have access to all of the CIS Benchmark Tools and member materials. If you have questions about the CIS or the benchmark tools, contact the IT Security Office at itsoinfo@gmu.edu.
