I have a STATA job that needs to run for a longer period of time, and I need to disconnect.
To do this, do not click on the X to close STATA and select disconnect the VDI session.
The VDI session will remain active.
The STATA session will remain active.
You can reconnect to the disconnected session in the Research Desktop VDI Storefront or Launch the STATA application from the Storefront to resume the active session.
Note: The STATA server will reboot weekly every Tuesday at 4 a.m. and will terminate all active STATA sessions.
