There are multiple ways to schedule a Zoom meeting, including from the gmu.zoom.us website, the Zoom Desktop app, and via the Zoom Outlook calendar integrations. Only the Zoom Outlook calendar integrations automatically saves a space on your Outlook calendar. To schedule with the Zoom Outlook plugin, do the following (to schedule with the Outlook Add-in go here)
Step 1
If you already have the Zoom Outlook plugin installed, go to your Outlook calendar in the Outlook desktop application. If not already installed, install it now from https://zoom.us/download.
Step 2
Select Schedule a Meeting in the Outlook calendar Ribbon and choose Schedule a Meeting from the drop-down menu.
Step 3
Select applicable settings. We suggest selecting Generate Automatically for the meeting ID.
Step 4
Enter your invitee’s email addresses and press Send.
