2FA Account Services Moving to Password Website on August 1

On Sunday, August 1, 2021, the services provided within the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Account Management website (2faaccount.gmu.edu), including 2FA enrollment, bypass codes, and device management, will move to the Patriot Pass Password Management Website (password.gmu.edu). Information Technology Services is making this change to improve the customer experience and centralize processes related to maintaining your Mason credentials.

Currently

The orange buttons on the 2FA entry on ITS Service Catalog and the last menu option “2FA Account Management Menu” on the Patriot Pass Password Management site take you to 2faaccount.gmu.edu to manage your 2FA account and devices.

The orange buttons on the 2FA entry on ITS Service Catalog and the *new* menu option “2FA Account” on the Patriot Pass Password Management site  will take you to the new 2FA account management section within the Password website. From here you can enroll in 2FA, add/manage your devices, request bypass codes, etc.
